Celebrate Spring At Mission Marsh
A special waterfowl viewing day will be held at the Mission Marsh Conservation Area in Thunder Bay. Situated at the mouth of the Kaministiqua River, this nature area includes wetlands and forest habitat supporting a variety of wildlife. Late April is typically the peak of the spring duck migration.
Information about wetlands and waterfowl will be availble at the Mission Island Pavilion and visitors can walk the the trails and boardwalk to see migrating waterfowl in their natural habitat.
