Minnesota 2007 Fishing Licenses Valid through April 30
A legislative change extended the expiration date of 2007 fishing licenses for resident and nonresident anglers through April 30. Any stamps or tags to harvest particular species also are valid through April 30.
Angling licenses, stamps, and tags for 2008, effective through April 30, 2009, are on sale. Fishing licenses are required for resident anglers age 16 and older and all nonresidents. Nonresidents younger than 16 may fish without a license if a parent or guardian who is licensed accompanies them.
Licenses can be purchased in person at one of 1,750 statewide Electronic License System agents, online at mndnr.gov or by phone at 1-888-MNLICEN (665-4236). There is a $3.50 convenience fee for telephone or online purchases.
