Map Shows Hunting Lands
The Nature Conservancy has a new map showing its preserves in Minnesota where public hunting is allowed. In addition to showing general locations for preserves open to hunting, contact information for each site is also indicated along with specific driving directions to each preserve. The hunting map also indicates which areas require permits. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply on TNC property.
Almost 59,000 acres of Conservancy lands in Minnesota provide some form of hunting access. These areas range in size from the 24,000-acre Glacial Ridge Project to the 100-acre Pigeon River Cliffs preserve.
