Birders are encouraged to enter the birds they see into an online database. This database allows website visitors to conduct searches to see the birds that have been entered, where the birds were spotted, and the date the birds were seen.
The Trout Lake Learning Center’s mission as a non-profit corporation is to protect, preserve, and enhance the biodiversity and natural environment as well as to research, collect and disseminate information to the general public. The results of the Bird Survey will be discussed at a public meeting at the Trout Lake Learning Center on Saturday May 10 at 1:00 p.m.
