The 4th

by Joan on July 5, 2009

A big crowd surrounded the Grand Marais harbor for the fireworks last night. It wasn’t very cold either… fleece weather, not parka weather, and the almost-full moon reflected its glory across the lake in shimmering ribbons of gold. Very nice.

I didn’t have a tripod for my camera during the display, so the lines are distorted. Thought you might have fun looking at them anyway.

A rain of fire.
